The Port Authority of Santander promotes the development of a methodology for the resilient design of port infrastructures
The Port Authority of Santander (APS) and the Environmental Hydraulics Institute Foundation of Cantabria (IH Cantabria Foundation) have signed a research contract to develop a methodology for the resilient design of port infrastructures. This initiative aims to prepare the Port of Santander for increasing demand changes, global warming effects, and environmentally sustainable solutions, aligning with the Spanish port system's strategic framework. The methodology will be piloted on the Marina del Cantábrico breakwater, which is slated for rehabilitation.
