Valenciaport Gathers Companies and Experts to Analyze How to Advance Towards More Energy Self-Sufficient Ports
The Port Authority of Valencia (APV) and the Valenciaport Foundation organized the technical conference "Energy Self-Sufficiency in Ports" on the occasion of World Environment Day. The meeting brought together representatives from the port community, technology companies, and specialized entities to analyze solutions for renewable generation, energy storage, and low-carbon fuel production. The APV promotes initiatives such as photovoltaic installations in the ports of Valencia and Gandia, battery storage systems, and the development of wind turbines in the northern expansion of the Port of Valencia.
