Hapag-Lloyd launches "Straight Talk," a podcast featuring CEO Rolf Habben Jansen moderated by award-winning British business journalist Janet Porter. The podcast will provide insights into global trade developments and container shipping. The first episode discusses the current situation in the Persian Gulf, including the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and how Hapag-Lloyd is managing the impact on supply chains, customers, and crews of four container vessels stuck in the Gulf. Episodes will be available on all podcast platforms from 8 am on May 9, 2026.
