Maritime Authority Reorganizes Transit and Anchorage Areas in Callao Jurisdiction
The General Directorate of Captaincies and Coastguards (DICAPI) officially enacted, through Directorial Resolution N° 348-2026 MGP/DICAPI, new regulations redefining transit channels and anchorage areas within the jurisdiction of the Callao Port Captaincy. The measure establishes differentiated guidelines based on vessel type, operational status, cargo, and operations. Anchorage areas in Ancon and Pucusana bays are being relocated to improve maritime traffic flow and mitigate risks.
