Tarapacá Ports Register 8.2% Drop in Cargo Mobilized During June 2026
Ports in the Tarapacá Region mobilized 891,805 tons in June 2026, recording an 8.2% contraction compared to the same month in 2025, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE). Exports fell by 17%, while cabotage grew by 120.4%. Despite the monthly decline, the accumulated total for the semester closed with a slight advance of 0.3%, totaling 7.45 million tons.
