Coast Guard intensified prevention and control actions nationwide

During the last week, the Argentine Naval Prefecture reinforced controls in different parts of the country, as part of the strategic work coordinated by the Directorate of Operations and Citizen Protection, with special emphasis on urban areas, border crossings, and high-traffic areas.

In general terms, the weekly deployment included more than 58 interventions, which resulted in the apprehension of 33 people and the arrest of 4, in addition to the seizure of drugs, merchandise in violation, vehicles, and other elements linked to illicit activities.

Likewise, more than 6,890 vehicle controls were carried out at key points in the national territory, which resulted in the seizure of 11 vehicles.

These actions are part of a comprehensive prevention and control scheme that the Argentine Naval Prefecture maintains permanently, with the aim of strengthening security, protecting the community, and ensuring compliance with current regulations throughout the country.
