Tecon Suape, the International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) operation at the Port of Suape, Brazil, received its second consecutive Green Company Seal from the Government of Pernambuco.
The company is among the 16 organizations that received certification this year for adopting sustainable practices and promoting actions aligned with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
Created by State Law N° 16.112/2017, the Green Company Seal Program is administered by a commission comprising the Secretariat of Environment, Sustainability and Fernando de Noronha, the State Environmental Agency, the Commercial Board of Pernambuco, and the Secretariat of Professional Development and Entrepreneurship. The program encourages companies to combine economic growth, environmental preservation, and social inclusion.
For Tecon Suape, this achievement reflects continuous work to make operations increasingly efficient, responsible, and committed to sustainable development, creating value for society, customers, and future generations.
Valid for two years, the Green Company Seal adds to other recent recognitions on the terminal's socio-environmental agenda, such as the Ocean Friend 2025 seal, which highlights Tecon Suape as a leading port in environmental responsibility.
The company continues to strengthen its operations through innovation and sustainable business practices, while supporting Pernambuco's production chain and the sustainable development of the Brazilian port sector.
