Explora III: New Luxury Cruise Ship with LNG Technology Debuts at Port of Barcelona

The Port of Barcelona will host the inauguration of Explora III, a new luxury maritime vessel from Explora Journeys, a division of the MSC Group. The ship marks an advancement in the expansion of the international cruise industry and in the incorporation of technologies aimed at more sustainable navigation.

The vessel is the first in the fleet prepared to operate with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), reducing polluting emissions and allowing for the future incorporation of alternative fuels. Its development is part of an investment plan to expand the company's operational capacity with new vessels built by Fincantieri.
