With the aim of strengthening emergency response capabilities, the Port Emergency Center (CEP) of ASIPONA Manzanillo provided specialized rope rescue training to members of the Firefighter Cadet Academy of the H. Volunteer Fire Department of Colima.
During the session, 18 participants received theoretical and practical training on topics such as rescue equipment, safety standards, knots, anchors, load systems, and hoists, as well as techniques for ascent, controlled descent, and confined space rescue. They also performed practical exercises using specialized equipment for vertical work and emergency operations.
These actions reaffirm ASIPONA Manzanillo's commitment to continuous training and the strengthening of inter-institutional coordination for the protection of life and community safety.
The National Port System Administration Manzanillo (ASIPONA) works daily to contribute to improving the quality of life for the people of Colima.
