During the meeting, work was carried out on the information available in the National System for Comprehensive Risk Management (SINAME), with special attention to reading monitoring maps, identifying areas that could be affected, and planning measures for different scenarios.
The articulation between both organizations allows for the integration of meteorological, territorial, and productive information to anticipate risks, identify available capacities and resources, and improve the coordination of necessary actions in the face of eventual agricultural emergency situations.
In this framework, the AFE and the Secretariat of Agriculture continue to work jointly with the affected provinces to strengthen preparedness and have updated information that allows for effective decision-making regarding the evolution of the phenomenon.
Participating in the meeting were the Director of the AFE, Santiago Hardie; the Deputy Director, Ignacio Cabello; the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Sergio Iraeta; the Undersecretary of Agricultural and Forestry Production, Manuel José Chiappe Berisso; and the Director of Pork Production, Eduardo Terrado.
