The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation, through the National Directorate of Dairy, reports that between January and July of this year, dairy product exports reached 987 million dollars and 1.835 billion liters of milk, setting a record in both value and volume for the period, according to historical records.
Furthermore, the figures show a year-on-year increase of approximately 18% in value and 20% in equivalent liters. The 1.835 billion liters of milk exported represented 29% of the total production for the period under analysis.

On the other hand, domestic consumption shows a 4% increase, reaching a value of 4.986 billion equivalent liters.
The standout products for external markets during this period are whole milk powder, whey, mozzarella, semi-hard cheeses, and butter.
The main destinations for Argentine dairy products in these months of the year were, according to exported volumes, Brazil, Algeria, Chile, and China.
