The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation reports that during August 2026, soybean crushing reached 4,252,151 tons, which constitutes the highest record for the month of August in the last ten seasons, considering the period between the 2016/17 and 2025/26 seasons.
In turn, August 2026 marked an increase of 344,212 tons compared to August 2025, when 3,907,939 tons had been processed. This represents a positive year-on-year variation of 8.81%.
In this way, soybean crushing consolidates a marked increase compared to the same month of the previous year, reflecting the dynamism of industrial activity.
