Coast Guard strengthens nautical training with instruction days in the Río de la Plata

The activities took place on the Río de la Plata and involved a total of 27 students, who participated in various maneuvers and exercises aimed at incorporating fundamental knowledge for the safe operation of vessels.

During the sessions, the Coast Guard instructed participants in the handling of ropes, rigging, and winches, in addition to practicing hoisting, lowering, and trimming spinnaker and asymmetric sails.

Likewise, the students took turns at the helm to maintain the assigned course, making the necessary corrections according to the wind direction and conditions.

The navigation successfully met the planned pedagogical objectives, consolidating theoretical knowledge through practical experiences in a real navigation environment.
