The training was led by members of the Navigation Safety Police Directorate and aimed to train and update personnel to carry out technical inspections on board national merchant vessels sailing in jurisdictional waters, contributing to compliance with national and international maritime safety standards.
The training combined theoretical content with practical activities, which included tours and inspections on board vessels.

During the course, participants deepened and updated their knowledge of current regulations applicable to ship electrical installations, incorporating necessary technical tools and criteria for the development of their functions as inspectors.
