Prefectura participated in training on transparency in public procurement and contracting

The Argentine Naval Prefecture participated in a training session on transparency in public procurement and contracting, led by the Anti-Corruption Office. The session focused on preventing and managing conflicts of interest in these processes, in accordance with current regulations.

In representation of the national Maritime Authority, the Director of Financial Administration, Prefecto General Luis Alberto Bareiro, the Head of the Acquisitions Department, Prefecto Mayor Gustavo Daniel Godoy, the Head of the Audit Department of the General Inspectorate Directorate, Prefecto Mayor Juan José Radivonchik, and senior personnel from different areas were present. The opening was led by accountant Andrea Karina Zakin, head of the Internal Audit Unit of that organization.

During the day, members of the Anti-Corruption Office, Dr. Leopoldo Horacio Giuponni, in charge of the National Directorate of Public Ethics, and Dr. Ana Karina Larocca, in charge of the Directorate of Transparency Policy Planning, spoke about the prevention and management of conflicts of interest in procurement and contracting procedures, in accordance with Decree No. 202/2017 and Resolution No. 11-E/2017 of the entity.
