The audit was conducted over two days at the Coast Guard Building, within the framework of Referential Standard IRAM N.º 13/2017 – SIGEN, which establishes quality management requirements for Internal Audit Units (UAI) of the National Public Sector.
On the first day, general aspects related to the Quality Management System (QMS) were evaluated, while on the second day, the main processes of the General Inspectorate Directorate were examined. The latter day was attended by Accountant María Valeria Fortti, representing SIGEN.
The audited system includes the scope of Planning, development of internal audits, monitoring of observations, and other internal control activities of the Argentine Naval Prefecture, which contribute to strengthening the transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness of institutional management.
