The Port Authority of Ferrol-San Cibrao is bringing the presentation of the cruise terminal to Europe's most important sectoral fair, Seatrade Cruise Med 2026, which is being held in Las Palmas on September 16 and 17. The port authority will thus promote Ferrol as a cruise destination in an event held jointly with Global Ports Holding, one of the world's largest cruise operators, which has been granted the concession for the construction and management of the terminal for the next 30 years. With this event, the port authority and Global Ports Holding once again highlight an alliance that will transform the port of Ferrol and boost cruise tourism. This type of tourism generates great added value due to its role in revitalizing the local economy and promoting Ferrol internationally.
The president of the Port Authority, José Antonio Álvarez Vidal, and GPH's regional director for the Western Mediterranean, Francesc Grau, will be responsible for the presentation tomorrow, September 16. It will be at 11:15 AM Canary Islands time at the Puertos del Estado stand before representatives of the different port authorities and the cruise tourism sector.
