Port of Castellón Installs Solar Plant in Sustainable Rehabilitation of Historic Canteen
The comprehensive rehabilitation works of the old Workers' Canteen at the Port of Castellón are progressing with the installation of a 27 kWp photovoltaic solar plant on the roof. The building, constructed in 1940, is being modernized with high-energy efficiency systems and thermal insulation. The President of the Port Authority, Rubén Ibáñez, highlighted the commitment to clean energy. The intervention is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), as part of the Pluriregional Program of Spain 2021-2027.
