Fincantieri and Teijin Sign Agreement to Collaborate on Development of Bulkheads for Naval Applications

Fincantieri and Teijin Automotive Technologies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on the development of non-structural bulkheads made from composite materials for naval applications. Teijin will lead the engineering and industrialization activities with support from Fincantieri. The bulkheads will utilize a proprietary composite material from Aeronautical Service, certified as non-combustible, aiming to reduce weight and enable functional integration in naval units.
