Manzanillo registers a 6.8% growth.
18.8% of the commercial cargo mobilized in Mexican ports is concentrated in the Port of Manzanillo, according to the statistics from the National Port System for the period from January to July 2026.
During this period, the total cargo movement in the country's ports reached 145,993,899 tons, representing a growth of 0.5% compared to the same period last year.
Regarding the total national cargo, Manzanillo mobilized 19,383,849 tons, equivalent to 13.3% of national participation, with a growth of 7.4% compared to the same period in 2025.
Meanwhile, the movement of commercial cargo in Mexican ports registered 97,625,305 tons, representing an increase of 4.3% compared to the previous year.
In this category, the Port of Manzanillo mobilized 18,399,736 tons, with a participation of 18.8% of the national total and a growth of 6.8% compared to the same period last year.
These results consolidate Manzanillo as one of the country's main ports for commercial cargo movement and reaffirm its importance as a strategic point for the entry and exit of goods, as well as for strengthening international trade.
