Maersk adjusts Heavy Load Surcharge rates for Far East Asia-Mexico route

Maersk revised its Heavy Load Surcharge for shipments from Far East Asia to Mexico, effective 5-JULY-2026. The surcharge applies to 20-foot dry containers exceeding 20 metric tons and 40-foot non-operating reefers exceeding 23 metric tons, both set at USD 300. The carrier also updated rates for other regional destinations including West Coast South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
