The Philippine multinational Contecon continues to make investments in the port of Manzanillo, aimed at expanding its terminal and modernizing its equipment and facilities.
This was confirmed this Sunday, when 5 new RTG Cranes arrived aboard the vessel Lan Hai Hong Yun, from Busan, Korea, and will be incorporated into the terminal's operations.
The vessel, with a length of 172.8 meters and a beam of 40.2 meters, is heading to Buenaventura, Colombia, and has regularly transported different types of cargo to Manzanillo.
Contecon maintains a significant share in the movement of containerized cargo at the port and, during the last two months, has ranked first in TEU movement among the port's terminals, operating 164,297 TEUs in August alone.
The National Port System Administration Manzanillo (ASIPONA) continues to guarantee efficiency in its administrative and operational processes to facilitate the improvement of the port and maintain its position as one of the main ports in Mexico and Latin America.
