Peter Greenberg's 'Hidden Tahiti' documentary premieres at Directors Guild of America
Travel journalist Peter Greenberg premiered his documentary 'Hidden Tahiti' at the Directors Guild of America in Hollywood, featuring the Paul Gauguin cruise ship and French Polynesia's culture and sustainability. The special showcases Greenberg's exploration of 12 islands, traditional navigation, and local traditions, scheduled to premiere on PBS in about two months before airing on Apple, Amazon TV and YouTube for three years. The event highlighted French Polynesia's growing tourism appeal, with 284,000 visitors in the third consecutive year of record growth, and the arrival of Ponant's Le Jacques Cartier to complement Paul Gauguin's operations.
