60 new apprentices join Hapag-Lloyd for maritime and onshore roles
60 young people are starting professional careers at Hapag-Lloyd this summer, with 30 beginning maritime roles including 14 ship mechanics and 16 nautical officer assistants, while 30 start onshore positions at Ballindamm. The company, Germany's largest maritime training company, launched the Shefarer Program this year to attract more women to careers at sea and support them throughout their professional journey.
