Port of Arica: Interinstitutional Coordination Against Incivilities

In its fifth session of the year, the Port Coordination Committee of Public Services of the Port of Arica addressed actions to strengthen security in the port environment. Led by Empresa Portuaria Arica (EPA), the committee prioritized measures against informal trade and hotspots of incivility. During the session, operational performance was presented, showing a 6% growth in cargo transfer and an 18% increase in TEU movement, despite disruptions from 52-day blockades in Bolivia and 892 hours of closure due to high seas.
