Organizations Express Concern Over Doubts About Funding San Antonio Outer Port Works
Various voices from the maritime and trade sectors express concern over the financing difficulties of the San Antonio Outer Port. Biminister Louis De Grange reported that meetings with foreign banks did not yield expected results due to the high investment required for the breakwater (USD 1.950 million). Hugo Barra of Ligamar and Javier Torrejón of the CRCP agreed on approaching these initiatives with a long-term perspective, while EPSA confirmed it will finance the first stage of the project.
