Manzanillo–Guadalajara Corridor: Transit Time Impacts and Delivery Delays
Infrastructure work and traffic congestion along the Manzanillo–Guadalajara corridor are causing increased transit times for containerized cargo. Construction continues at Port of Manzanillo access roads, La Salada (Km 15–25), La Salada–Armería (Km 25–54), and Armería–Cuyutlán (Km 54–95). Normal transit times of 3.5-4 hours may extend to 6.5-8 hours under heavy congestion, potentially affecting scheduled deliveries and container processing.
