Port of Klaipeda Receives USD 115 Million from EIB for Energy Transition
The European Investment Bank granted 100 million euros (USD 115 million) to the Port of Klaipeda, Lithuania, to modernize infrastructure and develop offshore wind energy. The loan covers half of the 201 million euro (USD 232 million) project, which includes onshore power supply, green hydrogen, low-emission vessels, and dredging. The port will be integrated into the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).
