Ecuadorian Mining Exports to China Grow 76.8% in First Quarter

Ecuadorian mining exports to China registered a growth of 76.8% in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, mainly driven by copper concentrate with USD 622 million. This performance was associated with the production growth of projects such as Mirador and the increase in international copper prices, increasing the demand for logistics and port services.
