DP World Opens Egypt's First Integrated Logistics Hub at Sokhna
DP World launched Egypt's first fully integrated Logistics Distribution Centre at Sokhna Logistics Park on 1 July 2026, with Egypt's Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly in attendance. The facility signed agreements with three initial global customers, including a Kenya-based tea exporter handling approximately 1,000 TEUs annually, a leading consumer goods distributor serving eight markets, and a German multinational specialising in fibre-optic cables. DP World has invested more than USD 1.4 billion in integrated logistics infrastructure across Egypt.
