Ecuador exported 261,787 bags of coffee and related products between January and June 2026, a 41% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Sales generated approximately USD 79.3 million, according to Anecafé figures.
The data was released during The Global Coffee Fair, held in Quito, where sector representatives analyzed the challenges of connecting Ecuadorian production with international buyers. These include transportation, delivery times, and traceability.
The sector seeks to expand the presence of Ecuadorian coffee in international markets through new commercial spaces. One of the upcoming showcases will be World of Coffee in Panama, a meeting that brings together producers, buyers, and other industry stakeholders.
