Ecuador Militarizes Puerto Bolívar to Reinforce Strategic Security and Logistics Operability

President Daniel Noboa ordered the deployment of a security operation in the province of El Oro and the strengthening of control in Puerto Bolívar, coordinated with Defense Minister Gian Carlo Loffredo. The operation includes reinforced controls at port accesses, container supervision, maritime patrols, and monitoring of logistics corridors. The measure seeks to reinforce state presence, guarantee operational stability, and improve cargo traceability at this key terminal for agricultural exports and containerized cargo.
