54% of Ecuadorian Exports Exempt from 10% US Tariffs

Fedexpor reported that 54% of Ecuador's non-oil exportable goods to the United States were excluded from the 10% tariff surcharge applied since July 24. Bananas, plantains, cocoa beans, and instant coffee are among the 151 products that benefit. The remaining 46% will incur the tariff, although in most cases, it will still be lower than that of regional competitors.
