Technicians from INOCAR's Navigation Aids Directorate performed preventive and corrective maintenance on the lighthouses of Isabela Island, in the Galapagos province. These tasks aim to guarantee the proper functioning of the nautical signaling system.
These interventions preserve the operational capability of the maritime infrastructure, which is essential for guiding vessels during their voyages. The maintenance contributes to reducing risks and improving navigation conditions in the archipelago's waters.
These actions strengthen maritime safety and the continuity of signaling services in a strategic area for Ecuador. Likewise, they support maritime transport operations and the protection of activities carried out in the island environment.
