Ecuador Reincorporates CN-235 Aircraft for Maritime Surveillance

The Ecuadorian Navy announced the reincorporation of the CN-235 AN-204 aircraft after completing maintenance at Airbus Defence and Space in Spain. The platform returns to aeromaritime exploration, search and rescue operations, in addition to controlling illicit activities. Its operational versatility strengthens the surveillance of jurisdictional maritime spaces and the response to drug trafficking and illegal fishing.
