The port plans to make reception shifts and schedules more flexible to respond to possible early or delayed arrivals of containers. This coordination will allow processes to be adapted to potential disruptions in land transport and access roads.

TPG maintains continuous vessel service operations, with possible specific pauses during high-intensity rainfall. Its location in the Guayaquil estuary provides an operational advantage against wave or fog conditions that can affect other terminals.
