The Manta Port Terminal is moving forward with the expansion of its Patio 600, a project that involves an investment of USD 2.3 million. The work will allow for the incorporation of three additional hectares designated for cargo storage and handling.
The expansion responds to the growth of the terminal's operations, which moved over 90,000 vehicles during 2025. The port handles loading and unloading operations for vehicles and other goods, so the intervention seeks to expand its operational capacity.
The execution of the project also includes the creation of more than 900 jobs, encompassing direct and indirect employment. The work is part of the actions aimed at strengthening the logistical infrastructure and port activity in Manabí.
