Gate Terminal commissions fourth LNG storage tank with 180,000 cubic meter capacity
Gate Terminal has commissioned its fourth LNG storage tank at Maasvlakte, with a capacity of 180,000 cubic meters. The joint venture between Gasunie and Vopak now operates at 20 billion cubic metres per year, representing two-thirds of the Dutch gas market. The Port of Rotterdam Authority is constructing a fourth jetty expected to begin ship loading and bunkering operations by the end of 2028.
