Silver Whisper Completes 25 Years of Service With Bookings Through 2029
The Silver Whisper, delivered to Silversea on June 15, 2001, has completed its 25th year of service. Built at T. Mariotti shipyard in Italy as a sister ship to Silver Shadow, the 28,000-ton luxury vessel underwent a $170-million modernization in late 2018. In 2026, the 392-passenger ship operates seven-night cruises in Alaska and is scheduled for winter operations in French Polynesia, with bookings extending through April 2029.
