Queen Mary 2 to undergo major refurbishment in dry dock spring 2027
Cunard announced a comprehensive refurbishment of Queen Mary 2, the world's only ocean liner offering regularly scheduled Transatlantic Crossings. The ship will enter dry dock at Damen Shiprepair Brest in France on March 31, 2027, returning to service on May 9, 2027. The project includes 31 new staterooms (16 Cunard Princess Grill Suites and 15 Britannia category), enhanced wellness facilities, upgraded entertainment spaces including a digital upgrade to Illuminations planetarium, and expanded kennels for guests traveling with pets.
