Port of Bilbao Successfully Tests Maritime Internal Plan Against Pollution
The Port Authority of Bilbao coordinated a marine pollution control drill at the Getxo 3 cruise terminal, involving its own vessels and resources from Mooring and Tugboat services. One of the six containment booms, totaling 2050 meters in length, was deployed, complemented by equipment from companies like Petronor, Tepsa, and Esergui. The exercise tested the accidental marine pollution Maritime Internal Plan and inter-agency coordination.
