Contecon Manzanillo evacuates 2,000 containers in 24 hours, setting a new record
Contecon Manzanillo evacuated an average of two thousand import containers by road transport every 24 hours on August 20 and 21, moving nearly four thousand containers in two days. This record was made possible by extending the windows for cargo withdrawal and strengthening coordination with the Manzanillo Customs, implementing the 24/2 scheme that maintains customs operations for 24 continuous hours from Thursday to Friday.
