Demolition of old disused warehouses in Wissocq industrial estate underway
The Port Authority of Santander (APS) has begun the demolition of several old, disused industrial warehouses in the Wissocq industrial estate. This action will generate an additional 6,200 square meters of operational space, adding to the 43,700 square meters already incorporated into the port's service area from this estate. The ultimate goal is to create new port surfaces to accommodate port operations and develop necessary infrastructure, increasing the port's capacity and responding to client needs and activity growth.
