Port of Montevideo: North Access Scales Tested
The Port of Montevideo conducted tests on the new scales for the North Access project, an investment of approximately USD 10 million driven by the National Port Administration (ANP). The system includes 16 scales (8 for entry and 8 for exit) and aims to streamline logistics operations, improve entry efficiency, and transform the port into a smart port. The new system will automatically collect information and interact with the National Customs Directorate (DNA) to optimize controls and reduce entry times.
