Babcock LGE to Supply Cargo Systems for Four Samsung Heavy Industries VLGCs
Babcock LGE has signed a new contract with Samsung Heavy Industries to supply cargo handling systems for four 88,000 m³ Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs) being built for the shipping company Oceonix in Korea. The collaboration will cover the entire engineering and delivery program. Additionally, Babcock LGE plans to forge an alliance with Oceonix to optimize the operation of the gas systems during the vessels' operation, with delivery scheduled for 2029.
