Foreship and MMT Partner to Deploy Manta Air Lubrication Technology
Manta Marine Technologies (MMT) and Foreship by RINA signed a framework agreement to deliver Manta Air Lubrication, a proven energy-efficiency solution installed on more than 25 vessels. The technology creates a controlled air layer beneath the hull to reduce frictional resistance, delivering typical net fuel savings of 3 percent to 8 percent. MMT will manage full project delivery from feasibility studies to lifecycle support, while Foreship provides hydrodynamic expertise and CFD analysis to help shipowners evaluate and implement the solution.
