Evergreen has taken delivery of the "Ever Eclat," a 16,556 TEU dual-fuel methanol-powered containership. The vessel was built by Samsung Heavy Industries and is part of a series of 16 ships ordered by the shipping company.
The vessel is 369 meters long, 53.60 meters wide, and has a deadweight capacity of 184,000 tons. Its engine reaches a power of 43,200 kW and allows a service speed of up to 22 knots.
The "Ever Eclat" has commenced operations on Ocean Alliance's NEU7 service, named CES by Evergreen. Samsung Heavy Industries plans to deliver nine more vessels of this class to Evergreen by 2027, while another eight similar vessels will be built by Imabari.
