ABS Opens Marine and Offshore Support Center in Bergen, Norway
ABS, a classification services provider, inaugurated a state-of-the-art support center in Bergen to expand its capabilities in the Norwegian maritime market. The Marine and Offshore Support Center houses research and development engineers, as well as design approval engineers who support the Norwegian fleet. According to John McDonald, ABS President and CEO, the investment supports traditional maritime services and emerging disciplines such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, subsea technologies, and risk consulting.
