Damen delivers second CSOV 9020 vessel for Taiwan offshore wind operations
Damen Shipyards Group launched the second CSOV 9020 for Ta San Shang Marine Co., Ltd. (TSSM), a joint venture between Mitsui O.S.K. Lines of Japan and Ta Tong Marine Co. of Taiwan. The vessel, named TSS Challenger, will be delivered in early 2027 and will support construction and maintenance at offshore wind farms in Taiwanese waters. The CSOV 9020 features hybrid diesel-electric propulsion, accommodates up to 120 personnel, and is prepared for future operation on green methanol.
