James Coughlan Shares Career Milestones in Cruise Industry
James Coughlan, MD of Shorex Australia, reflects on his journey from a 20-year-old chef aboard Crystal Symphony in 2002 to becoming a shore excursion specialist. After 11 years at sea with Crystal Cruises, he transitioned to cruise tour operations. His first passenger cruise experience came in 2025 aboard Symphony of the Seas from Miami for a Caribbean exploration with his family.
