Yanbu Port Activity Surges Amid Red Sea Tanker Diversions

Saudi Arabia's Yanbu port recorded its busiest day since Houthi-imposed blockades disrupted Red Sea shipping, with five very large crude carriers berthed on Saturday. More tankers are transiting the Bab el-Mandeb chokepoint with transponders off, while crude exports from the Persian Gulf reached 8.4 million barrels on Friday—among the highest daily flows since the Iran war began in late February.
